The Bioinformatics group at PBI applies Computer Science techniques to the storage, analysis, and exploration of biological research data. Starting at the efficient storage of raw data and proceeding through to the creation of information systems the Bioinformatics group creates, evaluates, and implements systems for extracting knowledge from biological data.
The Bioinformatics group focuses on high-throughput informatics solutions for the organization and exploitation of genomics data.
